Nissan Qashqai 2014 Review

Nissan has put a lot of time and effort in their mission to improve their SUV and crossover autos. It all started with the new model of Nissan X-Trail in 2013 and the next in this line is Nissan Qashqai. The new Qashqai has some similarities with the X-Trail and that’s not a coincidence because they are both based on Nissan’s Hi-Cross concept.

You can see the similarities mostly on the front of the vehicles. The light clusters for example are almost identical, bordered with LED lights in the shape of a boomerang.

Unlike the front part of the vehicle, the back of Qashqai is completely different and shows the originality in its design. The stop lights have really unique and interesting design never seen on other Nissan vehicles. The designers have obviously to highlight this part of the auto with oversized light clusters that reach deep into the back fender.

The previous model of Qashqai was very popular because of its balanced appearance and that’s why the manufacturer has decided to keep almost the same proportions for the new model. The new Nissan Qashqai is only 1.9 inches longer and slightly wider, it is also a little bit lower. That makes this model way more dynamic and elegant compared to the new X-Trail.

Although this SUV is smaller than an average SUV, the styling of larger SUVs are successfully applied to the interior. What makes this model superior compared to its predecessor is the improved quality of the materials and the luxurious interior. This new generation of Qashqai has more space for the passengers and much larger trunk.
